Author Guidelines

The Journal of Global Integrated Research (JGIR) embraces quality and original work of any researcher in any field. The following are the major guidelines that can assist you in preparing your manuscript to submit. The adherence to such will simplify and speed up the process of review and publication.

1. Types of Manuscripts

Some of the submissions that are accepted by JGIR are the following:

  • Original Research Articles - describe an original discovery and knowledge.

  • Review Articles - are comprehensive summaries of research that has been done.

  • Case Studies - are statements of particular cases or real-life uses.

  • Short Communications - brief reports about topical issues.

2. Plagiarism and Dual Submission

  • Your work should be original and no prior publication has been done.

  • Manuscripts that are under consideration in a different journal are not accepted.

  • Should you have published a section of your work elsewhere (e.g. in proceedings of a conference), then you must make this disclosure clear on submission.

3. Submission Process

To submit your manuscript:

  1. Create an account or take registration on JGIR submission portal.

  2. Filled submission form with author and manuscript.

  3. Browse and upload your manuscript (in MS Word.doc/.docx).

  4. Complete the last review and turn in your work.

Make sure that all co-authors have examined and approved the final version before pressing the Submit button.

4. Manuscript Format

Manuscripts should be:

  • Written in understandable professional English.

  • Written in Times new roman, 12 point.

  • Spacing between lines is 1.5 and the margins are 1 inch.

  • Numbers on the pages are consecutive.

Correct formatting aids your reviewer to evaluate your work better.

5. Manuscript Structure

In the order of frequency, your submission must be as follows:

  • Title page: Title, authors, affiliations and contact with corresponding author.

  • Abstract: 150-250 words in summary of the study.

  • Keywords: 3-6 terms on the subject.

  • Introduction

  • Methodology

  • Results / Findings

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • References

Please, do not include unnecessary portions that are not contributing to the main academic message.

6. References and Citations

  • Apply a standard and uniform referencing style (APA, IEEE or Vancouver).

  • Any mentioned works should be listed in the reference list.

  • Be accurate and complete in reference.

7. Ethical Considerations

Authors must:

  • Reveal any interests of conflict (financial or personal).

  • When studies involve people or animals, they must follow ethical guidelines. Approval details need to be included. Following rules isn’t optional - ethics matter just as much as results do.

  • Start by avoiding copied material while giving credit where it is due. Every source needs a mention when used.

Unethical behavior can lead to rejection or withdrawal.

8. Peer Review Process

Each manuscript is reviewed by the process of the double-blind peer review; neither authors nor reviewers are identified. Receivers review your work on basis of originality, clearness, methodology and applicability to the journal coverage. According to the responses by the reviewers, the manuscripts can be:

  • Accepted

  • Sent back to be revised (minor or major)

  • Rejected

Positive feedback is offered to assist you in getting better at work.

9. Revision and Resubmission

If revisions are requested:

  • Act on every comment of the reviewers.

  • Elaborate on modifications that were done in a response letter.

  • Re-file within period of time.

The responses are also timely and contribute to accelerating the editorial decision.

10. Copyright and Open Access

By submitting to JGIR, authors:

  • They are entitled to retain copyright of their work.

  • Accept publication in open access.

  • Make the article free to the global readers.

Open access promotes the wider presence and influence.




Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
