Aim and Scope

What This Journal Aims to Do

JGIR is intended to be the journal of high-quality research, which spans across the traditional academic borders. We think that research should be complex, and not limited in a narrow-disciplinary way, in a world that is complex and interconnected.

We hope to publish work that specializes in uniting knowledge across disciplines, asking new questions, and making contributions to solutions that are important. Regardless of whether the study is addressing theory, research methodology or practical use, we would love to receive work, which provides insight, advances the understanding or makes people think in a different way about the issues that impact our world.

The Scope of Research We Welcome

JGIR is strategically expansive. As long as it is scholarly and can be involved in the worldwide dialogue on integrated research, we can make use of scholarly work in any discipline. Possible topics of interest include, but not limited to:

An Enclave of Valuable Ideas

Although the journal is broad in its subject matter, any submission is supposed to:

  • Be grounded on proper research design.
  • Be clear and transparent in the findings.
  • Contribute to academic or practical knowledge specifically.
  • Be interesting to international, non-disciplinary audiences.

We also urge the authors to contextualize their work in a manner that brings out real life relevance be it through applications, implications on policy, or future research directions.

Bridging Knowledge for Broader Impact

The Journal of Global Integrated Research has one purpose which is the linking of ideas, fields, and views. We are sure that the interaction between the scientists of various perspectives will allow us to have more insight and gain deeper knowledge.

We are solicited to make submissions that are rich in scholarly thinking, imaginative thought, and dedication to carrying out research that is relevant.
